Playfront Park
Playfront Park was built in 1989 as a result of generous fundraising efforts by the Junior League of Duluth. The park quickly became the most used playground in the city. Playfront Park was refurbished by volunteer efforts of the League in 2002/2003. The park is located in Bayfront Park near the Great Lakes Aquarium. Today the park is enjoyed by thousands of children & families annually.

The wooden structure was in need of replacement, so in conjunction with the city the Junior League of Duluth raised funds for a new park that was built May 2010.

Hartley Nature Center
In 2000-2001, the JLD donated $10,000 to help purchase supplies and equipment for a new building at Hartley Nature Center.

Done In A Day
Done in a Day projects are those which can be completed in a short period of time, usually within one day or even within one meeting (these are called Done in a Meeting projects). These projects fit within the scope of the JLD's mission and vision.
