JLD Members Attend National Conferences

The Junior League of Duluth (JLD) is proud to offer its members opportunities to attend trainings on a variety of topics. Over the past several months, JLD members attended two national conferences.

Organizational Development Training (ODI)

JLD members Vicki Meyers, Jennifer Maki, Ann Chouinard and Carly Gosar attended the Organizational Development Training in Chicago on July 11-13. At the training, members explored key strategies in recruitment, member retention, and marketing—focusing on building meaningful connections, keeping engagement fresh over time, and strengthening their brand in the digital age. “But beyond the sessions, the most memorable takeaway was the camaraderie and shared adventures with my fellow JLD members” says Ann. From unforgettable moments to new league stories, the experience deepened bonds and made the learning even more rewarding.

Small Leagues Big Impact (SLBI)

Cassondra Greene and Ciara Macklanburg attended the Small Leagues Big Impact (SLBI) Conference in September, held in St. Louis. The goal of SLBI  is to educate, train, and empower smaller leagues. The conference covered several topics including community impact, membership, and communications. We thank them for representing our league!
